Dynamic of Perichoresis

The Prayer of Perichoresis
is not intended as a declaration of belief.

The Universal and Christian versions are 6+6 parallel, vague and mysterious statements
which taken together offer a possible scenario of why we're here and where we're ultimately headed.
These are things we can never know for sure,
but for those of us who care to wonder about them,
we should take a moment to wonder about
how we wonder about these age old questions.
Do we actually think a thought through and come to our own conclusion?
Or do we let a thought roll around in our heads with other thoughts and considerations?
We certainly filter and favor certain thoughts and combinations over others
but ultimately we tentatively settle on what comes out of the process.
In other words, we're involved in a process but are not
the sole participants in the process.
Certainly other people play a part in the process whether in person,
in memory or through their writings and/or activities but I know at least in my case ...
the best thoughts often seem to come from no one else and out of nowhere.
But there's too much structure, logic and coherence
in the "nowhere" thoughts for "nowhere" not to be a somewhere.
Or for "no one/thing" not to be a some one/thing.
On top of that we don't just think thoughts -- we also feel them. And we weigh them according to how much we believe in them as well as whether or not we think and feel they are fully formed or need more work.
Rather than a declaration of belief then,
the Prayer of Perichoresis as presented in this website
is an invitation into a practical experience of the dynamic
Christian theologians have termed "perichoresis".
